In order to facilitate the implementation of the upcoming phases of the Ennis Public Realm Regeneration works, the following Road Closures will be effective from Monday 8th January, 2024:
- O’Connell Street, Ennis, from O’ Connell Square to Station Road junction
- High Street, Ennis, from Harvey’s Quay/Salt House Lane to Bank Place/O’Connell Square

Please note that it will be business as usual in the town centre for the duration and every effort will be made to programme the works to minimise disruption during this challenging construction period.
Should you wish to meet with the project team, you are welcome to attend the next stakeholder drop-in information clinic at the Temple Gate Hotel on Monday 8th January from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
Clare County Council looks forward to the completion of this once-in-a generation investment, which, when completed in 2025, will result in transformational improvement for the streestscape and squares of Ennis town centre.
